Terms of Service
Effective: [DATE] · Last updated: October 24, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and Zvolt LLC, a Texas limited liability company based in Vidor, Texas ("Zvolt"), for use of the Zvolt app, the Zvolt field-service software service for businesses (the "Service"), and our online quote tools. By using them you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Accounts
You must be 18+ and give accurate information. If you sign up for a company ("Company"), you confirm you can bind it. You're responsible for activity under your login and for the users you invite. Keep sign-in links and codes private.
2. Subscriptions and billing
Companies may get a free trial, then pay the plan price shown at sign-up, billed in advance through Stripe and renewing automatically until canceled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated in writing. We may change prices with 30 days' notice before your next renewal. If payment fails, we may lock the Company account after a grace period; data is kept for 90 days so you can pay or export it. Zvolt LLC's own account is not billed.
3. Your data
Each Company owns the data it puts into the Service ("Company Data") and gives us permission to host, process and display it only to provide and improve the Service. The Company is responsible for having the right to enter its customers' information and to contact them, including getting consent for calls and texts and honoring opt-outs under laws such as the TCPA. You can export your data or delete your account in the app.
4. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service: no illegal, harassing or spam messages; no accessing another Company's data; no reverse engineering, overloading or reselling the Service without our written OK; no uploading malware.
5. Estimates, routes and AI drafts
Quotes from the quote tools are ballpark estimates, not offers or binding prices. Final pricing requires site confirmation (photos or an in-home visit), permits and utility approval. Drive times and routes are estimates — obey traffic laws and don't use the app while driving. AI-written texts are drafts; you're responsible for reviewing what you send.
6. Do-it-yourself and parts-only purchases
If you buy parts or a DIY guide, you are responsible for safe, code-compliant installation, permits, inspections and utility approval. Gas and electrical work is dangerous; hire a licensed professional if unsure. Manufacturer warranty coverage may require dealer installation. Zvolt is not responsible for installations it did not perform.
7. Field services
Installation, maintenance and repair work performed by Zvolt LLC for its own customers is governed by the written quote, work order or maintenance plan for that job, which controls over these Terms if they conflict.
8. Third-party services
The Service uses outside providers (e.g., Supabase, Expo, xAI, Stripe, Apple Maps, Google Voice, map and address services). Their terms apply to their services, and we're not responsible for their outages or changes.
9. Our property
The app, software, design and the Zvolt name belong to Zvolt LLC. We give you a limited, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription. Feedback you send us may be used freely.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND DON'T PROMISE THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, ZVOLT WON'T BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ABOUT THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
12. Indemnity
Companies will defend and hold Zvolt harmless from claims arising from their Company Data, their messages to customers, or their violation of these Terms or the law.
13. Ending use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for non-payment or violation of these Terms. Sections that by nature should survive (e.g., 3, 9–14) survive.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Texas, and you and Zvolt consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing, each side agrees to try to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days after written notice.
15. Apple
If you got the app from the Apple App Store, these Terms are between you and Zvolt, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or warranty for the app, is not responsible for claims relating to it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you.
16. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms by posting a new version here; for material changes we'll notify account owners. Questions: admin@getzvolt.com · (409) 498-6090 · Vidor, Texas.
